Be part of it in 2020, from 21-23 August at the Norfolk Showground
We founded VW Whitenoise Festival, Norfolk’s premier VW Festival, in 2002 and after five successful years at Euston Park, near Thetford want to return the music festival and celebration of motors to beautiful Norwich, where we live. A festival site kinder to lowered vehicles, with plenty of undercover options and already home to music festivals, including Sundown, and car shows. The Norfolk Showground makes it easy for you to join Whitenoise for the day or to camp.
White noise Festival was held at the Showground in 2012 and 2013 and we’re back with the Volkswagens and the live music for the foreseeable future, always the third weekend in August, during the school summer holidays.
Sorry for any disappointment caused to your 2019 plans. Any competition winner tickets will be honoured in 2020. Our tickets go on sale late October 2019.
We cannot wait to welcome you whether you arrive by foot, pedal bike, with tent, in your campervan or towing your caravan, once again from 21-23 August 2020, our 17th event!
Lucy and Neil Haughey (Whitenoise organisers)
The Whitenoise Story so far…
What started as 200 people coming together to celebrate their love of Volkswagens, camping and music in 2002 has grown into an annual gathering of up to 10,ooo festivalgoers, friends and families bringing their eclectic vehicles, caravans, bicycles and quite often the dog too. We are the original Norfolk VW Festival.
Performers and DJs have included The Neville Staple Band, Dreadzone, Shades of Rhythm, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Beach Boys UK, DJ Chrome, The Allergies and Norman Jay MBE.
The music line-up, sound and staging, sets our car show apart.
Join us 21-23 August 2020 at the Norfolk Showground for a fantastic Norwich Festival.
Thanks to all of you who were #partofit in 2018 at Euston Park. Here’s some memories made…

Whitenoise Winners 2018
Frank Spencer presented the Show n Shine winners with stunning trophies, a splash of cash and a cheeky wink! He also congratulated our Deluxe Resto Shop sponsored ‘Otherness’ and Retro Custom Bike competition victors.
Many thanks to all who drove and pedalled up, especially on the Sunday which was forecast to rain and rain and rain (it didn't).
