Camping Tickets

When do earlybird camping tickets go on sale?

End October 2019.

What camping tickets do I need?

Camping is pre-book only. You buy tickets per person in your preferred camping area, add a pitch type and any extras, including electric hook-up.

Where are the family tickets?

Children age 12 and under are now free and there’s a small charge for teens, age 13-16. We listened to your feedback. We offer a combination of free family activities and some that carry a small charge.

Do you offer glamping?

Yes. We have two fantastic providers and a beautiful area of the Festival site for Glamping. You book direct with the providers and buy your festival tickets with us. You park your vehicle next to your tent. More info here (insert link to Glamping blog).

What days can I camp?

Camping Tickets are Fri-Sun with the option to add an extra Thursday night. You can arrive on Saturday but there is no reduction in price. Camping is pre-book only. Thursday camping is limited and sells out quickly.

How much are booking fees and postage?

See Tickets charge a 4% fee per order and xx postage.

When will I receive my tickets?

See Tickets post out your physical paper tickets approx two weeks before the Festival.

Are there any age restrictions?

Under 17s must be accompanied by an adult. NEW Age 12 and under are free but must have a ticket. They must be 12 years old or younger on entry to the event in August 2020. If they are older you will be asked to pay the full teen price on the gate. Maximum three children per adult.

Is there VW and Car Club Camping?

Yes. Select Club Camping when you book. At the end of the booking process you will be asked for your Club name. A minimum of 10 pitches must be booked under your Club name to qualify for reserved space.

Can I bring my caravan?

Yes. Make sure you buy a caravan pitch pass. Electric hook-up is also available as an add-on in General or Quiet Camping. We have Elsan facilities.

Is there electric hook-up?

Yes, in either General or Quiet camping. All electric pitches are allocated next to each other and cost £60 (see camping area map – this is to be supplied by LH later in Oct). These pitches are size tbc and there is strictly no sharing electric. You must bring your own 15m camping lead.

Can we have barbecues and open fires?

Campfires/fire pits are not allowed. Disposable barbecues are allowed but must be kept off the ground. We retain the right to ban the use of disposable barbecues at any time e.g. due to dry conditions. When buying a ticket for VW White Noise Festival you are agreeing to our Site Rules.


Day Tickets

Do you sell day tickets in advance?

Saturday and Sunday Day Tickets on sale Spring 2020. NEW Children age 12 and under FREE.

Can I bring my own alcohol if coming for the day?

No. Day visitors are not allowed to bring any alcohol into VW Whitenoise.

If I pre-book for the show n’ shine will I get a free ticket?

If you are the driver of a show standard vehicle and pre-register for the show n shine you will enter for free on the Sunday. Any passengers age 13+ will be charged.


Show n’ Shine Competitions

How do I enter the Show ‘n’ Shine?

The Show ‘n’ Shine takes place on Sunday 23 August 2020. Pre-register your show standard vehicle online and the driver gets free entry. Air-cooled and water-cooled Volkswagens, VAG, Rods, Customs and Retro vehicles, Lowriders and pre-89 classics all welcome.

Is there a retro bicycle and ride-on competition?

Yes, on Sunday 23 August 2020. No pre-registration required. BMXs, Beach Cruisers, Classic Racers, Customised Radio Flyers, Choppers and ride-ons, scooters and soap box creations all welcome.


Auto Jumble

Can I book a weekend Auto Jumble pitch?

Yes but not if you’re a commercial business. Auto jumble pitch bookings include free Thursday night camping and cost £10 per pitch + per person camping tickets. Autojumblers must be on site by 9pm Thursday 20 August. Pitches on sale end October 2019.

Can I book an Auto Jumble pitch for just Sunday?

Yes. On sale Spring 2020.


Blue Badge Holders

Is there Blue Badge Camping?

If you are a blue badge holder you have the flexibility of choosing the camping area most suitable to your needs on arrival. The camping area map shows where disabled facilities are located and the First Aid point. Please ensure you display your badge clearly in your windscreen. The Norfolk Showground is a flat site with a combination of tarmac and grass areas.

Is there Blue Badge Parking?

Yes. We will confirm the location of this nearer the event.

Carer/PA Applications

Do you require assistance from your PA/Carer during VW Whitenoise to enable you to be part of it? Email us to request a free PA/Carer ticket with evidence you have purchased your ticket already and please include one supporting document: PIP (Personal independence payment) DLA – Care and/or Mobility Letter from a medical professional D/deaf or blind registration

Are there disabled facilities?

Yes there are disabled toilets and showers.



Is there a Site Map?

Closer to the event we will share a more detailed Site Map. Currently it only shows camping areas and toilet facilities (add link)

Do you have showers?

There are a limited number of ‘brick built’ showers on site. These are free.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes. They must be kept on leads at all times and cleaned up after.

What are the toilets like?

We have brick built toilet blocks with sinks located across our site. We may add some portable toilets, tbc.



What is the Saturday fancy dress theme?

Tbc. Your suggestions are most welcome!

Food and Drink

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Alcohol in glass is not allowed and will be confiscated. Camping visitors are allowed to bring alcohol in cans or cartons for reasonable personal consumption only. Drinking your own alcohol in our licensed areas is not permitted, this includes the Grand Ring and Warehouse.

Day visitors are not allowed to bring alcohol into VW Whitenoise.

Can I bring my own food?

You don’t have to as we have loads of scrumptious caterers.
