By attending VW Whitenoise at the Norfolk Showground, from 20-23 August 2020, you're agreeing to abide by the rules that ensure all visitors are safe and have a good time.

We have 24hr security, medical and fire services in operation all weekend.

  • Alcohol in glass, any found will be confiscated. Camping visitors are allowed to bring alcohol in cans or cartons for reasonable personal consumption only. Drinking your own alcohol in our licensed areas is not permitted, this includes the Grand Ring and Warehouse.

  • Fireworks, Chinese lanterns, flares or pyrotechnics.

  • Aggressive behaviour. Our security can and will refuse entry and eject anyone causing a nuisance, acting anti-socially or in breach of our Site Rules.

  • There's zero tolerance of the use or distribution of illegal drugs and/or Nitrous Oxide.

  • Drunk and disorderly behaviour will NOT be tolerated at the VW Whitenoise Festival. You will be removed from our site as soon as it is safe to do so.

  • NO campfires or fire pits. Attempt to build or light one and you will be ejected from the site.

  • Do not take a barbecue inside a camper van caravan or tent - inhaling carbon-monoxide can have fatal consequences and poses a fire risk.

  • Strictly NO independent sound systems. You will be ejected from site. We supply the free music so you don’t need to.

  • Strictly NO generators.

  • Please be aware that there is a small lake within the Norfolk Showground. This is strictly out of bounds during VW Whitenoise. The organisers are not responsible or liable should you breach this rule.

COMING AND GOING

  • You MUST have a valid vehicle camping pitch pass for every vehicle you bring camping.

  • Random vehicle checks are carried out on entry to the Festival. This is required by the local Council. This can slow entry but please remain patient.

  • Due to strict H&S rules NO early entry allowed. Official gate opening times here (link is provided). NO Sunday night camping.

  • 5MPH speed restriction at all times. NO unnecessary vehicle movement during the day and NO vehicle movement after dark. Leaving the camping site is discouraged and not allowed on the Thursday or Friday. A £10 charge will be made for vehicle readmittance and only allowed during official opening hours on the Saturday or Sunday.

YOUNG PEOPLE AND PETS

  • Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

  • A maximum of three free ‘12 and under tickets’ per adult.

  • You are responsible for children in your care at all times. Any FREE activities require a responsible parent to accompany their child. We do NOT offer any crèche facilities.

YOUR SURROUNDINGS

  • Take pride in your surroundings - use the bin-bags provided and many bins to dispose of your litter.

  • Disposable barbecues are allowed but must be kept off the ground. We retain the right to forbid the use of disposable barbecues at any time e.g. due to dry conditions.

  • VW Whitenoise is a really lovely event and our security team are available 24/7. Please however be aware that some people may decide to take advantage of the lovely relaxed atmosphere so be as vigilant and security and safety conscious as you would be at home or on an evening out. Please report any incidents as quickly as you can to our security.

  • Tickets are non-refundable. You cannot amend your camping area.

  • Your camping ticket includes access to all the free music and entertainment.

  • Wristbands must be worn at all times. If your child does not want to wear their wristband then you must keep it with you to show security if asked.

  • If you are not wearing a valid wristband you will be asked to pay again or escorted off the premises.

Disclaimer: While we make every effort to provide the full programme of free entertainment, and use the site as planned during the weekend, the festival involves human beings, travelling, weather and motors and we cannot be held responsible for any changes required.

Neither the organisers or venue can be held responsible for damage to or the loss or theft of your items while at the Festival or held liable for any risk, danger/loss, including bodily harm, personal property damage/loss, or any other incident arising from attendance at the event with the exception of incidents arising from gross negligence.
